Better players. Better teammates. Confident leaders. Most camps work on skills. This one also works on the player. Leadership is built into every drill, game and team challenge. For players: sharpen your touch, your passing and your decisions under pressure, learn to bounce back from mistakes, and make the people around you better. For parents: give your child an experience that builds confidence, communication and resilience, with lessons that carry over to school, friendships and everyday life. Campers develop confidence, communication, resilience, teamwork, leadership and athletic skill.

Four days. One letter each.

Every day of camp is built around one part of the L.E.A.D. framework. The soccer, the games and the reflection all point at the same idea.
Day 1, Monday, L: Lead yourself. Know and trust yourself: strengths and self-awareness, confidence, goal setting, personal responsibility. Reflection: What do I bring to a team? Day 2, Tuesday, E: Engage. Make the people around you better through connection: communication, listening, encouragement, inclusion, teamwork. Reflection: How do I make people around me better? Day 3, Wednesday, A: Adapt. How you respond to the moment matters: mistakes, frustration, adversity, resilience, growth mindset. Reflection: What do I do when things don’t go my way? Day 4, Thursday, D: Drive the team. Lead through your actions: accountability, trust, effort, team culture, leadership without a title. Reflection: What kind of teammate do I want to be?

The field is the classroom.

Leadership gets practiced in the drills, the games and the competitions.
Soccer instruction is tied directly to each day’s leadership theme. A missed shot becomes a chance to practice bouncing back. A small-sided game becomes a lesson in communication. Campers don’t just learn about leadership; they practice it every time they step on the field.

What campers take home: every camper leaves with a LUMA L.E.A.D. workbook that follows the four days and ends with a personal commitment, plus a camp T-shirt. Before camp: Who am I as a leader, my strengths, my leadership goals, my soccer goals. Each day: a reflection page for that day’s letter.
