Why now
Our students have outgrown our fields.
Our grass fields are beautiful, but rain, frost, heavy use, and shrinking daylight regularly limit access and when a field is unavailable, students lose practices, games, and the chances to learn, grow, and thrive that come with them.
The PAIS and Lehigh Valley peer schools we compete against already have lighted turf fields. The Athletic and Wellness Center was designed with this field in mind, and this project completes what that investment began.

A Family Welcome Plaza connects the field to the Athletic and Wellness Center, with accessible, ADA-compliant pathways for teams, fans and officials.
Nearly 100,000 vehicles pass our campus every day, and this field will show them what Moravian Academy is about.
