  • Q How much does tuition cost at Moravian Academy?

    For the 2026-27 school year, tuition ranges from $9,826 for 3-day half-day preschool to $39,851 for grades 9-12. Tuition varies by grade level and program, with rates published annually on this page.
  • Q What is the tuition for each grade level at Moravian Academy?

    Preschool (3-Day Half/Full): $9,826 / $14,041. Preschool and PreK (5-Day Half/Full): $16,444 / $23,393. Preschool and PreK Year Round (Cubs): $25,000. Kindergarten (School Year/Year Round): $30,093 / $32,000. Grades 1-5: $30,961. Grades 6-8: $34,477. Grades 9-12: $39,851.
  • Q Does Moravian Academy offer financial aid?

    Yes. Tuition assistance is available to families with students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 (financial aid is not available for preschool or pre-kindergarten). In 2025-26, 42% of all Moravian Academy students received financial aid, totaling over $7 million.
  • Q How do I apply for financial aid at Moravian Academy?

    Families apply through the Clarity Application, an online financial aid platform used by independent schools. The application takes about 20 to 30 minutes and requires a processing fee based on income. Only one application per family is needed each year.
  • Q What is the average income of families who receive financial aid at Moravian Academy?

    In 2025-26, the median income of new families receiving aid at Moravian Academy was $130,000 per year. Awards are based on income, number of children in tuition-charging schools, family assets, and other financial factors.
  • Q When is the financial aid application deadline?

    The priority deadline for returning students is December 16, 2026. For new students, Priority I is January 29, 2027, and Priority II is March 1, 2027. Applications after these dates are reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Q What payment plan options does Moravian Academy offer?

    Families can choose a full one-time payment, a 2-installment plan, or a 10-month payment plan beginning in July. Enrollment contracts must be submitted before the relevant payment plan start date.
  • Q What additional costs are there beyond tuition?

    Additional costs include optional tuition refund insurance (1.1% of tuition), dining fees ($1,360 for grades 1-8, $1,933 for grades 9-12), uniforms for grades 1-8, and optional extended care ($10 to $20/day). Day field trips, iPads, MacBooks, and textbooks are included in tuition.
