Second Graders Bring "Autumn Winds" to Life Through Music and Movement
Ben Wallace
Our second grade students on our Historic Downtown Campus have been joyfully exploring music through the poem Autumn Winds. Each class—Yuli Vanegas’s and Shea Andriko’s—worked together to craft their own unique performance, incorporating movement, singing, and Orff instruments. Students dove into their “Music Toolbox,” thoughtfully choosing the elements that would bring this simple, seasonal poem to life in their own way. We invite you to enjoy these delightful, creative renditions of Autumn Winds, where every note and movement reflects their imaginations at play!
