PreKindergarten Dives Into the Ocean with Our New International Early Years Curriculum!
Have you ever wondered what mysteries lie beneath the surface of the sea? Our PreKindergarten students are about to find out! This fall, we're embarking on an exciting new adventure through our first unit of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) – The Ocean.
Get ready to explore the world’s vast and mysterious oceans, where we’ll discover swaying forests of seaweed, the darkest depths of the deep sea, and the amazing creatures that call the ocean home. From colorful coral reefs to the wonders of marine life, there's so much to explore! Our students are already eager to dive in and see what awaits them beneath the waves.
To kick off our ocean journey, we’ve already “stepped into the sand” by taking off our shoes and socks and exploring with our beach feet! Little toes squished through sand as we examined seashells and described the many different types that have found their way into our classrooms.
Next up, we’ll dive into the world of sea turtles—learning all about these gentle giants and their homes in the sea. We can’t wait to uncover more fascinating facts and ocean creatures as our exploration continues!
